BLACK & GRUNGE

Il mood di quest'outfit è ispirato allo stile grunge. Da sempre la musica ha influenzato in tantissimi modi il mondo della moda: questo vale anche per la parola grunge, termine ideato agli inizi degli anni '90 da alcuni giornalisti americani per identificare un certo tipo di musica rock nato a Seattle e che ha visto nei Nirvana gli interpreti più conosciuti. Letteralmente sta ad indicare uno stile poco curato, sporco e trasandato; ma a me, gli eccessi in generale  non sono mai piaciuti, adoro prendere e analizzare "nuovi" mood per poi "giocarci" e personalizzarli. Il mini bomber di Adidas SLVR arricchito da maxi cerniere ricorda un pò i mitici anni '80. La lunga t-shirt di Relish, impreziosita da strass è tanto rock. Leggins neri e la nuova versione dei favolosi Dr Martens in vernice con "tacco" donano quel giusto mix grunge/chic. Un tocco divertente con i bracciali Mini Pà "Normal but special" by Le Pandorine e il bracciale multigiri con mini teschi La Fata. Per finire per "spezzare" l'outfit total black, l'originalissima borsa Freitag color blu cina (colore di grandissima tendenza) realizzata con i teloni di camion reciclati, perfetta per un look da giorno ;-) !

The mood for this outfit is inspired by the grunge style. Music has in many different ways influenced the world of fashion: this also goes for the word grunge, a term thought up at the beginning of the 90's by some american journalists in order to identify a certain type of music born in Seattle and which saw Nirvana as the most well-known interpreter of such music. It basically stands for a style which is not very well-groomed, but messy, dirty and shabby; I have never really liked excesses, although I adore taking and analysing "new" moods in order to "play" and personalise them. The Adidas SLVR mini bomber is enriched with a maxi zip which sort of reminds us of the legendary 80's. The long Relish t-shirt enriched with sequins is very rock. Black leggings and the new version of Dr Martens in patent with a "heel" give the outfit the right grunge/chic mix. A fun touch is added with the Mini Pà "Normal but special" by Le Pandorine bracelets and the spiral La Fata bracelets with skulls. To finish off, and break off the all black outfit, is the very original china blue Freitag bag (a very fashionable colour) made from sheets from recycled trucks, perfect for a day look ;-) !

PAOLA FRANI SS 2013 @ MILAN FASHION WEEK

Le meravigliose stampe paradisiache di orchidee riempiono e incorniciano abiti e camicie: un vero Hawaii-style ma con accenti fortemente punk. Fiori che diventano cristalli su bijoux multicolor. Multicolor glitter che illuminano decollettè in PVC-vernice. La donna di Paola Frani è colorata e aggressiva, ma anche sofisticata ed essenziale.

Come un sogno, una contemplazione visiva di uno spazio senza tempo....

The wonderful paradisiac orchid prints that fill and frame dresses and shirts: a true Hawaii-style but with a strong element of punk. Flowers that become crystals on multicoloured bijoux. Multicoloured glitter that illuminates PVC-patent decolletè. Paola Frani's woman is aggressive, but at the same time sophisticated and essential.
Just like a dream, a visible contemplation of a place where time doesn't exist.....

                                                                



ROCK FEATHERS

Piume e accenti rock per il mio outfit di oggi. L'abitino multi stampa ( piume, gioiello) con elastico interno in vita, è di Relish. Da portare come ho deciso di indossarlo io, quindi come un abito, oppure come maxi t-shirt abbinata a semplicissimi leggings.
I divertentissimi e leggerissimi orecchini sferici, caratterizzati da fili metallici, sono di Zushii: marchio che da qualche settimana, ho felicemente deciso di "adottatare" e che mi accompagnerà in tantissimi nuovi outfits ;-) !
L'originalissima e super cool pochette, componibile in pelle con dettagli in pitone spalmato silver, è di Salar. Perfetta sia per il giorno che per la sera.
A completare l'outfit, gli ankle boots scamosciati di Alberto Bressan, con importante zeppa convessa: assolutamente un must have per questa stagione! ( e vi assicuro, anche iper comodi ;-))

Feathers and a touch of rock are the elements for my outfit today. The multi-printed minidress (feathers, jewels) with an elastic at the waist is by Relish.  It can be worn like I chose to wear it, hence as a minidress, or as a maxi t-shirt on a simple pair of leggings.
The fun and lightweight spherical earrings, characterized by metallic thread are by Zushii: a brand which I have recently decided to "adopt" and which will accompany me in many new outfits ;-) !
The original and super cool pochette, leather with python detailing in spreadable silver is by Salar. Perfect for both the daytime and evening.
To complete the outfit Alberto Bressan's suede ankle boots, with an evident convex wedge : an absolute must-have for this season! (and I guarantee they are extremely comfortable ;-))

Pochi giorni fa, ho avuto l'immenso piacere di vedere in anteprima, la coloratissima collezione dei nuovi modelli di occhiali con montatura quadrata AL E RO GumSquare Collection.

Dopo il grande successo del modello a goccia, gli occhiali da sole di AL e Ro design si propongono per l'estate 2012 con una nuova montatura dalla forma quadrata che ne esalta lo spirito divertente e glamour, una soluzione di stile capace di rallegrare qualsiasi look e di dare vigore a un outfit total color.

A few days ago, I had the huge pleasure of seeing a preview of the new AL E RO GumSquare Collection of square framed colourful  sunglasses.

Ciao a tutti, finalmente ho avuto l'immenso piacere di indossare le favolose All Star by Muffinonline.it e Lab16 che rivisitano questo mito Americano con diverse lavorazioni custom per un prodotto unico ed inimitabile. Questa versione è realizzata con una finitura di borchie sulle parti laterali e a teschi nel retro. L'outfit che ho pensato e' rock/ metropolitano, con un "tocco ironico e frizzante" e perchè no, anche un po' vintage, perfetto con i gioielli delle collezioni Skulls e Stars di Kettlebell Jewels Italy, trendy e cool per un look grintoso e assolutamente rock ;-)

Hello everyone, finally I had the immense pleasure of wearing a pair of fabulous All Star by Muffinonline.it and LAB 16 who revisit this american legend with a variety of different custom made elaborations, to make them unique and inimitable.This version has been created with studs on the sides and a skull on the heel of the boots. The outfit which I chose to wear is rock/metropolitan, with and "ironic and fizzy touch" and why not, a little vintage too. It is perfect with the Skulls e Stars di Kettlebell Jewels Italy collection of jewellery which is trendy and cool for a pushy and absolutely rock look :-)

Amante degli occhiali da sole anche nelle stagioni più fredde ho scelto questo modello semplice ed elegante e di design di Barton Perreira.
Per dare un tocco più grintoso a questo look romantic/country ho abbinato il boots in camoscio Stonefly senza mai rinunciare a comfort e leggerezza.

In this outfit I wanted to match a floral skirt which is very romantic, with a country shirt, a micro fleece and a suede jacket with an fake fur collar; a must for every season.

To give this romantic/country look a feisty touch, I chose suede Stonefly boots, without ever renouncing to comfort and lightness.

FAKE TOO FAKE Giovanni Bortolani @ Orea Malià

Attraverso la falsificazione di un'immagine si può raccontare e rendere visibile una realtà nascosta, interiore: le lacerazioni dell'anima.
Due creativi, Giovanni Bortolani e Marc.o.M, utilizzando tutti i trucchi dell'immagine e dello stile si  sono cimentati nella creazione di soggetti che mostrano nella loro perfezione il lato interiore più umano e drammatico delle persone.
I ritratti sono esposti nella mostra fotografica " FAKE TOO FAKE - the final cut" presso lo spazio OREA MALIA' in via Marghera 18 (int) a Milano.

Across the falsification of an image, you can tell and show a hidden, interior reality: the lacerations of the soul.
Two creatives, Giovanni Bortolani and Marc.o.M, make use of all the make-up and style, and try to create subjects that show in all their perfection the interior, more human and dramatic side of people.
The portraits are exposed in the photograpical show "FAKE TOO FAKE - the final cut" at the OREA MALIA' in via Marghera 18 (int) a Milano.

Celebrando l'inizio di una nuova era della Fotografia Istantanea, abbiamo deciso di provare la pellicola monocromo nell'edizione limitata denominata First Flush ( questo nome richiama il pregiato Thè che viene raccolto durante la prima stagione a Marzo, famoso per il suo ricco e fresco aroma).
Polaroid in soffitta, trovata! Un'unico consiglio...dopo aver realizzato ogni scatto magico, proteggere la foto immediatamente dalla luce! Come? Inserendola in una scatola e lasciarla sviluppare a testa in giù per 2 minuti !

Celebrating the beginning of an new era of Istantaneous Photographs, we decided to try out the monochrome film in the limited edition called First Flush (its name is taken from the prestigious Tea which is picked at the beginning of  the season, in March, and famous for its rich and fresh aroma).
Polaroid in the attic, found! Only one piece of advice ... after having taken each magical shot, protect the photo immediately from the sunlight! How? Place it in a box and leave it to develop, face down, for 2 minutes!

Oggi visita alla mostra Graphic Design Worlds alla Triennale di Milano...allestimenti e installazioni su 1.500mq ideati dai designer stessi..i più grandi nomi internazionali e italiani ci faranno vivere un percorso ricco di suggestioni sensoriali, capace di offrire ai visitatori nuove prospettive e “lenti” con cui tornare a guardare il mondo della vita quotidiana.

Today we visited the Graphic Design Worlds exhibition at the Triennale in Milan...displays and interior designs set on 1.500sq created by the designers themselves...the biggest international and national names will walk us through a sensorial and suggestive path, which will offer the visitor a new perspective and a "lens" with which to look back at our daily lives.
