LA RUBRICA DI SARA : "E CHE LA PROVA COSTUME VENGA GIUSTIZIATA..."

Come ogni anno è ritornata l’estate, e con lei, le nostre menate riguardo alla forma fisica. Da poco tempo ho ripreso a praticare un po’ di sport all’aria aperta (sono infatti giunta alla conclusione che le palestre mi deprimono e mi complessano ancora di più). E quindi sola, armata di i-pod e di determinazione, ho iniziato a praticare un po’ di jogging…e il solo fatto di aver sfidato insetti di ogni genere (senza considerare il notevole numero di moscerini ingeriti) è per me già un gran traguardo.. Avrete capito che mi accontento di poco.
E alla domanda: ”Hai ripreso l’attività fisica per preparati alla prova costume?”, avrei voglia di rispondere:
“Prova costume? Ho detto che vado a correre, mica dal chirurgo estetico.”
Al che capisco che l’invidiabile capacità di apprezzarsi per ciò che realmente siamo, è dote assai rara.
Ora, scusate.
Vado a mangiarmi una bella fetta di cheesecake…ah, sì…pensando “intensamente” alla “temuta” prova costume…

Like every year the summer is back, and with it come the usual problems about your body. For a while now I have once again started to do some sport in the open air (infact I have reached the conclusion that gyms depress me and make me have a complex). And so, alone, armed with my i-pod and determination, I have started jogging... and the sheer fact of challenging all sorts of insects (without counting the numerous flies I've swallowed) is a goal for me. You've probably understood that it takes little to make me happy.
And to the question: "Have you taken up sport to get yourself fit for your bikini?". This is the answer I'd give: "Bikini? I said that I go running, not to the plastic surgeon."
I therefore understand that the enviable ability to appreciate oneself for what you really are, is a very rare gift.
So excuse me, but now I'm off to eat a big slice of cheesecake...and yes...I'll be thinking of myself in a bikini.....
