FLOWER DRESS BY GULHAN OZER

Quest'outfit è dedicato al favoloso abito della giovane designer di origine turca Gulhan Ozer. Una raffinatissima ed elegantissima dea greca moderna; bella, eterea. Questa l'immagine di donna alla quale Gulhan si ispira per le sue collezioni.

Le linee sono semplici e pulite, i tessuti fluidi, morbidi, poco aderenti, coloratissime stampe floreali dalle nuance iper femminili. La sua è una continua ricerca nel passato, nell'arte e nel bello, in ogni suo aspetto.

E' solo da un paio di mesi che conosco questa griffe; ho indossato per la prima volta un paio dei suoi favolosi short floreali durante la serata inaugurale del Convivio il 7 giugno. 

Adoro le sue creazioni, sono incredibilmente chic. Mi sembra di tornare indietro di scatto nel tempo, attraversando il passato in uno stile colorato e un tocco glamour che magicamente riportano al presente e al futuro.

Pochi accessori ma essenziali. Mi piace l'effetto che fa la collana bouquet art dèco comprata a Londra un paio di anni fa; sembra proprio "sbocciare" dal vestito, come se fosse un tutt'uno con la stampa fiorata che l'accoglie. Semplicemente così ho voluto interpretare il meraviglioso tubino di Gulhan Ozer.


This outfit is dedicated to the wonderful outfit by the young Turkish designer Gulhan Ozer. A modern sophisticated and elegant Greek goddess; beautiful and eternal. This is the type of woman which inspires Gulhan's collections.
The lines are clean cut and simple, with soft flowy fabrics, loose fitting and colourful flowery prints with highly feminine nuance. Her mission is a continuous search in the past, in Art and all its beauty. I have only known this brand for a few months now. I wore a pair of her fabulous flowery shorts for the very first time at the Convivio's inaugural evening on the 7th of June.
I adore her creations, I find them incredibly chic. I feel like I've taken a step back in time, walking through a colourful and glamourous past, which magically brings you back to the present and the future.
Only a few, but essential accessories. I like the art déco bouquet necklaces' special effect; a necklace I bought in London a few years ago. It seems as though its one in itself, blossoming from the dress itself. And it is in this way that I wanted to interpret Gulhan Ozer's wonderful sheath dress.

CONVIVIO 2012 SERATA INAUGURALE

Questo il quarto e purtroppo ultimo post dedicato a Convivio 2012. Felici e orgogliose, perchè nel nostro piccolo abbiamo contribuito ad aiutare Convivio. L'abbiamo sentito, vissuto, ma soprattutto ne abbiamo profondamente capito il Vero significato: Convivio non è solo un "semplice" evento di beneficenza, ma è Amore Vero, un reale e sentito supporto rivolto alle persone sieropositive e ai loro famigliari, all'informazione e alle prevenzioni. Tutto questo grazie ad una "affiatatissima squadra" composta da persone speciali che insieme alla madrina Franca Sozzani (che dal 1988 è l'anima della manifestazione) hanno donato il loro tempo e i loro cuori ad una causa così importante e speciale.

Ieri serata inaugurale; tantissimi i vip che hanno attraversato il Red Carpet, prestando la propria immagine per promuovere la raccolta fondi. Ovviamente sono stati loro i super protagonisti della serata, che sotto la totale attenzione di luci e fotografi, hanno sfoggiato look da capogiro. Immancabile Anna Dello Russo, meraviglioso il suo abito- gioiello di Fausto Puglisi ( pezzo unico, "prototipo" della prossima collezione). Letteralmente stregata e incantata dall' innata e infinita eleganza di Niarchos Guinnes Daphne, ogni suo passo, ogni suo gesto, erano classe pura! Molto carino il look "garcons" di Andrea Lehotska, peccato il pantalone un pò troppo lungo. Bello l'abito hippie- chic di Alessia Marcuzzi, che Alessandra Facchinetti ha appositamente creato per lei.

Insomma, i "nostri" vip non potevano non esprimersi meglio. Ci siamo divertite ad ammirarli, commentarli e a volte anche un pò criticarli, perchè ahimè, anche loro commettono qualche piccolo o grande errore ;-)

 Tra gli stand più affollati, quello del Vintage, particolarmente "sentito"da tutti, i ricavati infatti aiuteranno i terremotati dell'Emilia colpiti dal sisma di pochi giorni fa.

Per i super ospiti, la serata si è magicamente conclusa con una fiabesca cena di gala.

 "Il  mio saluto finale" alla serata è stata invece una bellissima carrellata di entusiasmanti emozioni, pensieri e riflessioni, che grazie a Convivio ho avuto modo di vivere profondamente e intensamente... Semplicemente GRAZIE ..

This is the fourth and sadly the last post dedicated to Convivio 2012. Proud and happy, because in our small, we were able to contribute to helping Convivio. We felt it, we lived it but more importantly we understood the real meaning: Convivio isn’t simply a charity event, but it is True Love, a heartfelt support aimed towards all sieropositive people and to their loved ones, providing information and prevention. All of this thanks to a tight-knit team, made up of special people, who, together with Franca Sozzani (who since 1988 is the soul of the manifestation) have given their time and hearts to a special and important cause. 

Last night the inaugural evening; many VIPs walked the red carpet, giving their image to promote the cause. They were obviously the protagonists of the evening, who under the high scrutiny of lights and photographers, showed off amazing outfits. An unfailing appearance by Anna Dello Russo, in her breathtaking jeweled Fausto Puglisi outfit (a one-off prototype from his next collection). Literally enchanted by the innate and infinite beauty of Niarchos Guinnes Daphne. Her every step, her every move, were trulyu class and style! Andrea Lehotska’s “garcons” look was very cute, shame the trousers were a little long. Alessia Marcuzzi’s hippie-chic look was beautiful, an outfit Alessandra Facchinetti made exclusively for her.

Our VIPS couldn’t have expressed themselves better. We enjoyed, admired  and commented them, and at times criticized them too, because, even they commit some small or rather large mistakes ;-)

Amongst the more crowded stands, in particular the Vintage one, there was a strong feeling felt by all, and all revenue will go to help the earthquake victims in Emilia, who recently were hit by seisms.

For the super guests, the evening magically ended with a fairytale gala dinner.

 "My final goodbye" to an evening which left me with beautiful trolleyfull of enthusiasm, emotions, thoughts and reflections, which thanks to Convivio I had the opportunity of feeling and living a big THANK YOU…..
