PARTY CALENDARIO DI MEO 2012 @ TEMPELHOF AIRPORT

Si è svolto lo scorso 11 Novembre 2011 presso lo storico aeroporto di Tempelhof di Berlino l’attesissimo appuntamento internazionale con il glamour, l’arte e la mondanità per presentare il Calendario Di Meo 2012 che quest’anno ha celebrato i 10 anni.
Ed è stato proprio Tempelhof così carico di potere evocativo dove in cui i più bei nomi del jet set internazionale si sono ritrovati per l’imperdibile festa in perfetto stile Repubblica di Weimar; tema che ha ispirato il Calendario Di Meo 2012, le cui immagini - interpretate dal vivace eclettismo di Angelo Bucarelli, artista e reputato curatore di mostre – facevano rivivere le figure più rappresentative della Berlino di quegli anni. Dal mondo dello spettacolo a quello della cultura, dell’imprenditoria e della politica, tra i numerosi ospiti sono intervenuti Vittorio Sgarbi, Fiona Swarovski, Steffen Seibert (portavoce di Angela Merkel); la stilista Luisa Beccaria e l’architetto Jacques Garcia (che ha firmato gioielli di design come il Café Costes di Parigi e il Mamounia di Marrakech) insieme a importanti famiglie dell’alta borghesia tedesca come gli Oetker, proprietari della Cameo; o dell’aristocrazia internazionale come Fedinando d’Asburgo fino ai grandi collezionisti d’arte come gli Hoffmann.
Dalle musiche alle luci fino all’abbigliamento degli ospiti rigorosamente costumé, l’intera serata era in perfetto stile pieno stile anni Venti e Trenta. Particolarmente apprezzati i vari momenti di intrattenimento che hanno animato la festa: sul palcoscenico si sono alternati ballerini, cantanti e una strepitosa drag queen che ha scatenato gli applausi degli oltre 800 ospiti presenti.

On the 11th of November, in the old Tempelhof airport in Berlin, the long awaited date with international glamour, art and high society took place. The Di Meo 2012 calendar was presented as this year is their 10^th year anniversary.
And it was at Templehof, a place with strong and evocative memories, which saw the most important names in the International jet set life all meet up for the unmissable Weimar party; the theme that inspired the Di Meo 2012 calendar. The images are represented by the vivacious eclecticism of Angelo Bucarelli, artist and exhibition curator. They relived the images of Berlin in those years. From the world of show business to that of culture, from the entrepreneur to the politicians, amongst the guests were Vittorio Sgarbi, Fiona Swarovski, Steffen Seibert (spokesman for Angela Merkel); the stylist Luisa Beccaria and the architect Jacques Garcia (who has designed jewellery such as Café Costes in Paris and Mamounia in Marrakech) together with important families from German high society like the Oetker family, owners of Cameo; and from the international aristocracy like Fedinando d’Asburgo right through to the great art collectors like the Hoffmann’s.
From the music to the lights, right through to the guests attire which was rigorously costume, the entire evening was in the 1920’s and 1930’s theme. The entertainment was greatly appreciated; various ballet dancers, singers and an amazing drag queen, all of which set off the 800 guests with great applause.
