DRAKE'S LONDON

Venerdì 20 Maggio 2011, al numero 3 di Clifford Street, Londra, è stato aperto il primo DRAKE'S SHOP. Il negozio è situato all’ interno di un edificio prestigioso che “ospita” grandi artisti conosciuti per le loro opere in stile Art Nouveau e Art Deco. La raffinata location e posizione, tra Savile Row e Bond Street, ha l’ obiettivo di diventare il punto di ritrovo per i gentleman accomunati dall’amore per l’ handmade quality. Il well-dressed men, British e internazionale, conosce Drake’s principalmente per le cravatte ma non trascura sciarpe, pochette ed accessori accomunati dal know how che da sempre contraddistingue il tailoring dei capi.

On Friday 20th May 2011, at number 3 Clifford Street, London, the first DRAKE'S SHOP opened. The shop is situated inside the prestigious building which hosts famous artists known for their Art Nouveau and Art Deco style. The elegant location and position, which is between Savile Row and Bond Street, has the aim to become the meeting point for gentlemen who have a love for handmade quality attire. Well-dressed men, both British and international, know of Drake's primarily for its ties, but it also offers scarves, pochettes and accessories which are known for their know how, all qualities which have always distinguished Drake's unique tailoring.

Per celebrare l’apertura del nuovo negozio è stato coinvolto un artista di livello internazionale, Adam Dant, che per l’occasione ha creato una serie di illustrazioni e versi per raccontare la storia di Drake’s e l’arte del Tie Making.

In order to celebrate the opening of this shop, Adam Dant, an international artist was involved in the inauguration and for this occassion created a series of illustrations and verses which told the story of  Drake's and the art of Tie Making.
