Lo stilista italiano Domenico Cioffi lancia durante AFW LAB la sua prima collezione IONIK.
La sua ispirazione si basa sulla grafica e colori della cultura mediterranea, ma con un occhio al minimalismo del Nord Europa. Si mescolano insieme nei suoi progetti. Con grande cura e precisione si incorporano cuciture e segni decorativi di piccole e grandi dimensioni. I disegni di Domenico Cioffi si caratterizzano per il modo unico in cui lavorano divisioni geometriche e colori . Tutto questo conferisce alla collezione un espressione sofisticata e sportiva.
IONIK si ispira alla Grecia antica e moderna, tradotta in una immagine fresca ed estiva con diverse silhouette femminili. Dal bianco delle statue e dei templi greci, il color sabbia delle divise delle guardie e declinazioni del blu del mare e il cielo che si incrociano nel colore dei tetti delle case sulle isole greche.
La collezione presenta numerosi tagli sottili e pinces come "la croce" e "L-form" ispirato al peplum delle dee pagane e i disegni ipnotici degli ombrelloni sulle spiagge. Moduli e linee seguono e squadrano le forme del corpo. L'intera collezione è completata da accessori in argento e legno, i quali esprimono un look pulito e minimalista.
The italian stylist Domenico Cioffi during AFW LAB launches his first collection IONIK.
His inspiration is based on the graphics and colours of the mediterranean, but with a touch of North Europes minimalism. They mix well together on this project. With great attention to detail and precision, they incorporate stitching and decorative touches of both big and small dimensions. Domenico Cioffi's designs are characterized by the unique way in which geometry and colours meet. These aspects give the collection sophistication and a sporty expression.
IONIK is inspired by ancient and modern Greece, and is translated into a fresh and summery image with various feminine silhouettes. From the colour white of the statues and greek temples, the sandy colour of the guards and shades of blue of both the sea and sky that are also seen on the rooftops of all the houses on the greek islands.
The collection presents numerous thin cuts and pinces like "the cross" and the "L-form" which is inspired by the peplum of the pagan goddesses and the hypnotic designs of the umbrellas on the beach. Modules and lines sculpt the shape of the body. The entire collection is completed by woden and silver accessories, both which give a clean-cut and minimalist look.
