In questo periodo, a Milano, si terrà la tanto attesa e temuta fashion week.
Ed è proprio in questi giorni che, se la propria autostima rasenta il suolo, converrebbe chiudersi a chiave in casa e non uscire per tutto il periodo…oppure, bisognerebbe evitare di circolare nelle zone più hot della city. Infatti, per le strade della città, piovono ragazzi alti un kilometro che, con indosso i loro vestiti griffati, si muovono soavemente nelle vie più cool del capoluogo lombardo.
Inoltre, sempre in questa settimana di fuoco, girano per le strade le “fashion week victim”, disposte a tutto pur di attirare l’attenzione. Troppe volte esagerando nell’accostamento di capi e accessori.
Troppe volte vittime della parte più negativa della moda, quella dell’apparenza più che della sostanza.
E’ vero che moda significa anche estrosità, audacia..ed è giusto giocarci. Ma temo che l’esagerazione portata il più delle volte all’esasperazione, possa solo nuocere, con il rischio di divenire più dei manichini sui quali “buttare” qualsiasi tipo di “cianfrusaglia” piuttosto che simboli di originalità.
La moda è come il fuoco, bisogna saperci “giocare”, ma basta poco per scottarsi.

Furthermore, in this constantly hot week, "fashion week victims" also hit the streets, ready to do anything and everything in order to get attention; at times exaggerating far too match in matching up clothes and accessories.
At times victims of the negative side of fashion, that of appearance rather than substance. It's true that fashion means immagination, to be daring, and it is right to play with it so. But I feel that at times exaggeration can bring to exasperation, and it can be harmful, because the risk is that of becoming a mannequin and throwing on anything whatsoever, rather than being a symbol of originality.
Fashion is like fire. You need to know how to "play" with it, or else you'll get burned.
